In case you were wondering…
we got you.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
-
Yes! DND is a space for women, by women. We welcome all ages, bodies, and backgrounds, and we're proud to create a place where women can fully be themselves.
-
No problem at all, come as you are! We expect most of our girls to come solo or with another friend and leave with a group chat full of new friends.
-
We like to keep trips intimate, just 6-12 girls per retreat, depending on the villa.
-
Typically, the ages range from early 20s through mid-40s, but really, anyone who wants pilates by day and cocktails by night is welcome! Alex is an elder millennial and Savannah is Gen Z so you’ll be in great company :)
-
You must be 21 or older to join a DND retreat.
-
Not at all! Savannah designs every class to meet you where you are, whether that's your first class ever or your five hundredth.
Classes are definitely spicy… you’re here to work but also to listen to your body, the morning classes are mostly about connecting back to self and breath, whatever that looks like, child’s pose it out or pulse it out, this is for you to walk out feeling good, that’s what it’s all about.
-
Encouraged! Most room options in the villas offer king sized beds so you can definitely share with a friend.
-
Open-minded, kind, and easy to be around. We have zero tolerance for racism, homophobia, transphobia, or any kind of judgment. If you're inclusive and here for good energy, you're exactly who we're looking for.
-
Yes! Mexico is just the beginning, we're already dreaming up a Sicily retreat for 2027, with more destinations to come.
-
Yes! Our private chef has you covered from breakfast to dinner, every day, including snacks and all drinks. If you’re hungry in between meals, no worries! Just chat with Alex or the chefs and we’ll make sure you’re fed :)
Any food purchased outside of the villa or excursions where it’s not explicitly listed that food is included is not covered.
-
We keep it local and authentic wherever we are! In Mexico, that means fresh guacamole, ceviche, handmade tortillas, mole, tacos al pastor, and other traditional Oaxacan dishes, plus mezcal and tequila tastings along the way.
Menus may shift slightly based on what's fresh and available, but this gives you a good sense of what to expect. We'll also check in with you before the retreat to hear what you love (and anything you don't), so the food feels just as personal as everything else.
-
Absolutely! During our pre-trip planning call, Alex will get a list of all dietary restrictions and food preferences and will make sure the chef takes that into account for each meal. After years of traveling with vegan and vegetarian friends and having her own cilantro aversion, she’s used to it!
-
Yes, drinks are included throughout the retreat, including our mezcal tasting and the pool party. We’ll be sure to have your favorite wine, cocktail, or beer stocked up in the villa.
Food & Drink
Trip structure
-
The days will vary by villa and location, but you can expect it to look something like this: morning pilates, chef-prepared meals, daily activities already planned out, and time for relaxation when you need it.
-
Our retreats balance movement and relaxation with daily Pilates, a boat day, and optional surf lessons. Everything is optional, so you can do as much or as little as feels good for your body.
-
Pretty much! The structure you see is what we follow, but small things can shift based on weather, group energy, or what's available that day.
-
Absolutely! This is your vacation. Join in as much or as little as you want (although we encourage you to join ;)
-
Yes! Every photo and video you see is from our own retreats or the actual villas we book, no stock photos here! It really is that beautiful.
-
We’ll start each morning with a pilates class bright and early, usually between 7-8am depending on the itinerary each day. Each class is designed to go with the day’s structure and you’ll receive a full Movement Menu in your welcome itinerary so there'll be no surprises.
-
Not at all! Savannah works with all experience levels. She’ll get to know your style and experience before the trip during our pre-trip planning calls and bring that knowledge to classes to ensure you’re feeling supported, excited, and challenged.
-
Her classes are dynamic, creative, full body, and definitely spicy. She always teaches in layers with options for all levels, aiming for movement that feels good, empowering, and just overall fun for everybody. The goal is at the base of it all, you leave feeling good.
-
Nope! we've got you covered with mats, towels, balls, booty bands, and wrist/ankle bangles. If you have any extra equipment of your own you’d like to bring to spice things up, bring them! Savannah will cue you when it’s time to use them!
PILATES
-
A full day on a private boat exploring the coastline near your villa, with snacks and drinks flowing the whole time. We'll anchor at a few stunning spots along the way, some only reachable by boat, with plenty of time to swim, snorkel, or just relax on deck. We'll stop for lunch partway through before heading back to the marina.
-
Surf lessons are optional and arranged by us, no experience needed. Pricing varies by location, but lessons are beginner-friendly, so don't worry about looking silly, everyone starts somewhere.
-
Massages are an optional add-on, and you can request a specific style, deep tissue, relaxation, whatever you need, so let us know ahead of time and we'll make sure your therapist is set up to deliver.
EXCURSIONS
-
We keep exact villa details private until you book, but you'll be in a stunning private villa on the Oaxacan Coast. Private pool, chef, with either direct beachfront access or a stunning view of the ocean.
-
Yes, a taxi will be waiting to bring you straight from the airport to the villa. If there are other girls on your flight, you may share a taxi with them to kick off the adventure early!
-
This will change depending on the villa but it will typically be a smaller airport closer to the beach towns in Mexico, likely PXM (Puerto Escondido). Don’t worry, Alex will help with all flight info after you book!
-
Some staff speak limited English, but we're always on hand to help translate anything you need, at the villa or out and about.
Since we’ll be in another country, we do recommended brushing up on some Spanish and having Google translate at the ready as well! -
Swimsuits, sundresses, something cute for dinner, lots of linen, and comfy clothes for pilates. We'll send a full packing list once you book.
We’ll bring the essentials like sunscreen, aloe, bug spray, and some general health kits, so you can save room in your luggage for another outfit or two!
-
Yes, although service will vary depending on the villa and the room you’re in. Heads up that since we're in a developing town, you may experience the occasional outage. Honestly, that's part of the charm, we love a good excuse to disconnect anyway.
-
Yes, we offer both private and shared room options. Shared rooms are a great way to save while still getting the full experience.
-
Yes! Just let us know when you book so we can pair you up in the same room.
LOGISTICS
Booking & Payment
-
First, a quick vibe check call, just us getting to know you and making sure you're as pumped for this as we are. This will also give you a chance to ask us any questions! Then we'll send your booking link.
-
Almost everything! Luxury villa, all meals and drinks, daily pilates, the boat day, mezcal tasting, gratuities, and airport transfers are all covered. You show up, turn on your vacation brain*, and we handle the rest.
*trademark pending ;) -
Flights, mandatory travel insurance, and any meals, drinks, or purchases made outside the villa, such as a trip into town, souvenirs, or an extra cocktail on your own dime. Add-ons like surf lessons or massages also fall outside the price, but we're happy to arrange them for you.
-
Yes, for the most part! Gratuities for villa staff, taxis, the mezcal tasting, and boat day crew are all built into your price, no need to tip along the way. The one exception is massages and surf lessons, since those are optional add-ons, tips for those are appreciated but up to you.
-
A deposit locks in your spot, with the remaining balance due one month before the retreat.
-
Yes! Full payment plan details are shared in your private booking link once you're ready to book.
-
No, deposits are non-refundable. We're a small group experience, so your spot is truly reserved for you.
-
Life happens, and we get it. Your deposit is always non-refundable, since it goes straight toward locking in the villa and vendors for your spot. If you cancel more than 90 days before the retreat, we'll refund the rest of what you've paid. Within 90 days, all payments become non-refundable, but you're welcome to find a replacement guest to take your place, just let us know so we can make the switch.
-
Travel insurance is mandatory for all guests. This will give you some peace of mind in case anything pops up while on vacation. We’re happy to send through some recommended insurers!
Proof of insurance is required within 30 days of booking.
-
Yes, the entire villa is exclusively yours for the retreat. It’s like an all-inclusive resort only 1000x better (unbiased opinion).
-
Yes. We only take you to places we'd go ourselves, and Puerto Escondido and Mazunte are both considered safe, low-risk destinations for travelers (currently rated on par with countries like France and Italy on the U.S. State Department's travel advisory scale). Beyond that, our villas have on-site staff around the clock, and are either gated or otherwise secured. We treat your safety like our own, because it is.
-
We'd say leave the extra-fancy stuff at home. We take good care of the villa and your things, but we're not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal items, which is part of why travel insurance is mandatory. Bring what you need to feel cute and comfortable, just maybe not anything too important to you!
