Booking & Payment

Your reservation is confirmed once your required deposit or full payment has been received. Payment plans, if offered, must be completed by the deadlines outlined during booking. Failure to complete payments may result in cancellation of your reservation.

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise stated.

Cancellations & Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.

Cancellation policies vary by retreat and will be outlined on each retreat's booking page. Because accommodations, activities, and vendors are reserved in advance, refunds may not be available after certain deadlines.

If you are unable to attend, please contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee refunds, transfers, or credits unless explicitly stated.

Travel Requirements

Participants are responsible for obtaining:

• Valid passports and travel documents

• Any required visas

• Flights and transportation not specifically included in the retreat package

Travel insurance is mandatory for all guests. Proof of insurance must be submitted within 30 days of booking. Failure to provide proof of insurance by this deadline may result in cancellation of your reservation, and any amounts paid beyond your deposit will not be refunded.

DND is not responsible for costs resulting from missed flights, denied boarding, delayed travel, or other transportation disruptions.

Health & Personal Responsibility

By attending a DND retreat, you confirm that you are physically and mentally able to participate in the activities offered.

You are responsible for informing us of any allergies, dietary restrictions, medical conditions, or accessibility needs before the retreat begins.

Participation is voluntary, and you assume responsibility for your own decisions and well-being throughout the retreat.

Assumption of Risk

Retreat activities may include hiking, wellness sessions, excursions, swimming, outdoor adventures, transportation, boat trips, and the consumption of alcohol, all of which involve inherent risks.

By participating, you acknowledge these risks — including those associated with alcohol consumption — and agree that DND, its founders, hosts, contractors, partners, and venues are not liable for injuries, illnesses, losses, damages, or accidents except where required by applicable law.

Guests are solely responsible for monitoring their own alcohol consumption and for any decisions, actions, injuries, or damages resulting from it.

Itinerary Changes

While we carefully plan every experience, itineraries may change due to weather, local conditions, safety concerns, vendor availability, or other circumstances beyond our control.

DND reserves the right to modify schedules, accommodations, instructors, activities, or experiences when necessary while maintaining the overall quality of the retreat.

Guest Conduct

We strive to create a welcoming, respectful environment for everyone.

Guests are expected to:

• Treat fellow participants, hosts, and local communities with respect.

• Follow local laws and venue rules.

• Respect accommodations and shared spaces.

• Avoid behavior that may endanger others or disrupt the retreat experience.

DND reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is unsafe, discriminatory, abusive, or disruptive. No refund will be issued in these circumstances.

Photography & Media

During retreats, photos and videos may be taken for promotional and marketing purposes.

By participating, you grant DND permission to use photographs or video in which you may appear unless you notify us in writing before the retreat begins.

Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, logos, graphics, photography, written materials, and retreat resources are the property of DND unless otherwise noted.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

Website Use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes.

You may not attempt to interfere with the operation of the website, upload malicious software, or misuse any content or services provided through the site.

Third-Party Services

Our website may link to third-party websites, booking platforms, or vendors.

DND is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, services, or policies of third-party providers.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DND shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of this website or participation in any retreat.

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid directly to DND for the applicable retreat.

Privacy

Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. The Vacation Desk LLC operates as the parent company of DND Retreats.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate state or federal courts located in New York, New York

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The latest version will always be posted on this page with the updated revision date. Continued use of our website or participation in our retreats constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
